It is difficult to identify cotton yarns and cotton-viscose blended yarns by conventional methods. Chemical methods are easier to use. Usually, chemical methods are used to remove cotton or viscose fibers. If it is dyed into a light blank, the falling feeling of the cotton stick is stronger, brighter, and cooler to the touch.
Cotton yarn
Cotton yarn is a yarn made of cotton fibers through a spinning process, and is called cotton thread after plying. According to different spinning processes, it can be divided into carded yarn and combed yarn. (1) Carded yarn: It is a yarn spun from cotton fibers through a common spinning system. (2) Combed yarn: It is a yarn spun from cotton fibers by a combed spinning system. The combed yarn is made of high-quality raw materials. The fibers in the finished yarn are straight and parallel, with few knots, good luster, evenness and high strength. This kind of cotton yarn is mostly used for weaving high-grade fabrics.
The production method of cotton yarn is more complicated. Generally speaking, there are two spinning methods, namely carded spinning and worsted spinning.
(1) Carded spinning process: cotton matching → opening and cleaning → carding → drawing frame → roving → spinning → doffing (manual winding and automatic winding) → finished product inspection.
(2) Worsted spinning process: cotton matching→opening and cleaning→carding→drawing frame→sliver coil→combing→drawing frame→roving→spinning→doffing (manual winding and automatic winding)→ Product testing.
Cotton yarn is widely used, it can be used as weaving yarn, such as: bed sheets, quilt covers, curtains and other home textile series. It can also be used as knitting yarn, especially combed yarn can be used to produce high-quality textiles, such as high-end undershirts, fine-sized poplin, etc. Cotton yarn can also be used to produce electrical yellow wax cloth, tire cord fabric, high-speed sewing thread for special industries and embroidery thread, etc.
Cotton viscose blended yarn
Blended yarn refers to a single yarn that is blended with two or more different types of fibers.
Blended yarn refers to a yarn made by mixing two or more different fibers in a certain proportion, such as polyester-cotton blended yarn, polyester-viscose blended yarn, etc.
There are also a variety of fibers that are distributed and adjusted in different proportions to become a blended yarn
